This painting is inspired by a statue that I came across in a quiet pocket park in Paris. On a busy day, I stumbled into a little refuge of trees and ferns and quiet beauty. A bird landed upon a lovely lady statue and the moment took my breath away. She was the "Lady in the Wood." Part of The Secret Garden Collection.
