The 14 Juillet, Bastille Day, late afternoon eating fresh local tomatoes like apples on a picnic along the banks of la Vienne River by the Pont Henri IV waiting for the Fireworks to start.

The bridge joins the town center and le quartier de Chateauneuf, founded by Catherine de Médicis 1611.

I've always loved postcards and the idea of sharing a small window of your experience with someone far way.
